PetroVietnam, which is also called The Việt Nam National Oil and Gas Group, is one of the largest companies in Vietnam. In this industry, one of the most important factors to compete is to be able to maintain its oil and gas reserves year after year. This is not always easy and many companies over the world, including the largest ones, regularly to fail to do so. PetroVietnam has recently announced that the firm was targeting an increase in its reserves by almost 15 MT this coming year. If they managed to do so, it would be a new accomplishment for the Vietnamese company.
