The pros and cons of investing in Real Estate

Writer: AdminAdmin

While our team is finalizing the performance report for the month of September, let’s have a look at the pros and cons of investing in Real Estate. Among the pros, clearly one of the reasons why Real Estate is so popular is because this is something that can be physically touch and feel. For many investors, feels more real. One other advantage is that this type of investment tend to generate consistent wealth and long term appreciation. However, the picture is not all rosy and there are some important disadvantages of Investing in Real Estate such as the fact that he investment is illiquid. Also investing in real estate requires a lot of work, attention and can be stressful. When you own several rental properties, you are exposed to emergencies (Burst pipes, lost keys, broken boilers… with panic-stricken phone calls at all hours of the day or night) but also to maintenance and legal issues. All in all, being a landlord can be a time-consuming job and is not for everyone.
