The Dow Jones lost 4.15% yesterday and the Nasdaq 3.90%. Following this, the Chinese stock markets recorded heavy losses too. The SSE Composite Index lost 4.05% today. However, Vietnamese stocks have so far weathered this difficult quite well. Today, HOSE index is down by a more modest 1.89% while HSX index is even up at +0.48%. One additional proof that Vietnamese markets are related to others worldwide markets but less than some might think.
