Vietnam Report Company (VNR) recently announced in a report the top 10 most prestigious Vietnamese listed companies for 2017. This report takes into consideration different aspects such as business performance or image of the companies in the eyes of the public.
One of the interesting points to be found in the report is that liquidity in Vietnamese stock markets has doubled in 2017 compared to the previous year. As of the end of the year, the total number of listed and registered trading firms was 1,374, posting a 30% annual increase.
A vast majority of Vietnamese listed companies are optimistic for the year ahead and expect market capitalizations to keep rising.
The top 10 most prestigious listed companies 2017 include Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company, Vingroup Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Mobile World Investment Corporation, and Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation.
