Every country has its own attitude in regards to Bitcoin. In Vietnam, trading bitcoin is allowed but not regulated by law as such. Last summer, The Vietnamese government approved a plan that would, if accepted, would provide full recognition to Bitcoin in Vietnam. If the plan goes on, Bitcoin will be officially approved as a form of payment by the end of next year. Even though the trading of Bitcoin is not forbidden, the State Bank of Vietnam has already took the decision that the issuance, supply and use of bitcoin is illegal as a mean of payment and subject to punishment ranging from 150 million to 200 million VND.
