Yesterday we talked about why so many people prefer real Estate investments over stocks. But we need to keep in mind that stocks constitute a better asset type than real estate ones in many different ways. First of all, as long as you avoid the most common mistakes often done by individual investors, stocks give you the best returns over the long term. Secondly, liquidity is not an issue. In fact, you can sell your stocks quickly if you need money, which is often not the case with a property. Finally, you do not have the burden of cost of repair, tax issues, and other problems you face as a landlord.
