The company is expected to be partly privatized in a near future.
Viettel has operations in many countries..The company is present in Africa in Cameroon and Burundi for instance but also in South America in countries such as Peru. All of its foreign markets reported a profit after three years of operation. Viettel has a total of roughly 100 million mobile phone subscribers.
